Let’s face the music: World of Warcraft is tough to beat. It’s so tough that it can get frustrating really quick. It’s better than being too easy to beat – but there has to be some way to gain the upper hand? There is. It’s called “power leveling,” and if you’ve spent any time in the WOW universe, you’re hungry for it. Here are 4 tactical strategies you can use to maximize your efforts and minimize your time trying to level up.
What you will need to do is to make sure you install any add-ons that help. One of the better add-ons is called Quest Helper, and it’s a great download by any measure. The reason for this high praise is that it tells you the best way to finish multiple quests. Another add-on is Titan Panel, letting you quickly see of all your stats, time left to level up, exp. points and gold.
Another couple of add-ons are the “Auctioneer” and also “Gather.” These will make it so you can make even more gold when you’re in training. These are some real basic, necessary add-ons you don’t want to skip, but there are plenty more out there that can help you in power leveling.
In addition to the add-ons, you need to plan out your build. In order to really do really well in WoW, you will need to have a thought out strategy for reaching your goals. This is why studying the different skills that you can get is such a great use of time – they help you power level. As you study these skills, you can then come up with a plan to think through what you need to build.
Thirdly, for leveling your character is to fulfill the quests. So many are in the habit of finishing one quest and then returning for their reward – all the commute time is downtime. You will need to be smarter than this if you want to advance quickly.
To really get serious about power leveling, accept every quest you can in your vicinity, then use your Quest Helper add-on to figure out how to do them all in the quickest fashion. Quests are fun and really keep things moving, but more importantly – they are what will get you the experience and items you need to advance.
If you want the real secret to success, listen to this – you will need to be certain that you build a list of favorite tracks using Windows Media Player. Grinding to your favorite tunes playing in your audio phile headphones just adds another level to the game playing experience, and doing it this way makes sure you focus on power leveling rather than wasting time as you change your music, like some disc jockey.
